British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead after taking his own life.
The 40-year-old committed suicide just days after the death of his mother, Joyce, last week.
McQueen was found at his luxury flat in Green Park, central London.
An ambulance was called to the address at 10.20am. It is believed he hanged himself.

A 13-year-old Saudi schoolgirl is to be given 90 lashes in front of her classmates after she was caught with a mobile camera phone and assaulting the school headmistress.

Terese Ziemann, Michelle Belliveau, Wendy Sewell, and Tracy-Hood Davis all faced judgment for their roles in what’s being called the “Krazy Glue Revenge” case.
All four were sentenced today in Calumet County, Wisconsin court.
